Thanks ! I'll print this out and line my bird cage with it . edit : They have denied a $150 rebate after I complied twice for their demands The laptop makers rebate arrived two weeks after I bought it . Now in corp. limbo. OD can eat me.

Same here with the Office Depot Compaq laptop rebates. There were three $100 ones and I only got one! What is the corporate number? This is BS. Avoid like the plague!!!
 
Some stores will give you ur money back if you bring all the info in showing that they refused it.

Its up to the store managers discretion though so YMMV. If the store (not assistant) manager says no get incontact with the district manager and they will usually take care of you.
 
Yeah, that MS wireless mouse is great (feels good in the hand, battery life is awesome [months]). If I had a laptop I'd jump on this $10 deal. The only other real alternative is a Logitech laptop mouse in which the cord wraps onto the mouse (does not use any batteries whatsoever).

Not surprised that OD is slimy about their rebates. Do you know that despite the verbage of their price match policy that they refuse to honor price match if the competitor's ad is for any kind of special sale or anniversary sale? Sounds like deceptive trade practices to me. I'm surprised they aren't getting slammed by a class action suit. I'll stick with OM or Staples. OD sucks.

"Thank you for shopping at Office Depot!" on the memo. No other info or contact #'s.

Never shopping there again!

100 gb maxtor for $20 after rebates looks like a nice deal. If they stiff me on the rebates i will physically harm somebody.
 
I have had good luck with OD, I ahve gotten all of my rebates back from them including an awesome deal on Windows XP Pro.

Maxtor 100GB ATA 941504 $89.99 less $70 OD MIR = $19.99. Hard to beat $.20 per GB.

i got there today a half hour after they opened and the guy said they are already sold out. i'm like you gotta be freakin kiddin me. Hes like come back tommarow maybe there will be more.

I got the wireless optical MS notebook mouse at BestBuy having them pricematch to the $9.99 in the Office Depot ad. So far it is excellent.
