From scoreadeal?s Receipt #2:

Coupon #6160 Disc 20.00-
WA 8.80% Sales Tax 2.46

$2.46 is 12.3% tax. What am I missing?

I don't think the Tootsie Rolls are taxed. If you count those out, the first $4.04 sales tax = 8.8%.

$50.94 - $4.99 - $20.00 = $25.95 * 0.088 = should be $2.28 without Tootsie Rolls, not $2.46, there must be some weighted average factor thrown in when you use a coupon, but I'm not complaining over 18 cents!

The guy punched in the wrong code, which gave me $5 off, then i told him the code was 6160, then he punched it in, and added another $20 off, he didn't even void the other one.

So I got both of them for $39.85 including tax.

If you guys are going for HP ink cartridges, make sure to look for the HP 'blister twin packs'. They have two cartridges in one pack and the price will less than average $30 a piece for the individual cartridges. Not all Office Depot stores have them, and I am having trouble finding them on their website, but here's Staples website for an idea of what to look for. Quite often the clerks aren't even aware of them or they try to sell you the more expensive individual packs when you ask for their help.

I just got back from OD and picked up a 80gb Maxtor 5400 rpm ATA 100 for 69.99 plus tax with the coupon. The shelf price said it was 107 or something but when it rang up the dude was like "whoah"! So after tax, I spent around 75 bucks for this drive. I don't think I even really need it. I was actually trying to score some DDR.

Dear Member:

We would like to apologize to you for an e-mail you accidentally received containing one of these two senders/subject lines:

Sender: IQ Test
Subject Line: LIMITED TIME ONLY: $20 OFF Your $50 Purchase!

or

Sender: OFFICE DEPOT
Subject Line: Content Delivery.

We'd like to inform you that these emails were sent in error. Also, please note that Office Depot did not send these e-mails.

OFFICE DEPOT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH IQ TEST OR CONSUMER VENUE IN ANY WAY.

Again, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience. If you would no longer like to receive e-mails from Consumer Venue please click here:

No, I didn't get this... but the first email I did get was from IQ Test/Consumer Venue. It was blatant spam, they sent it to an email address that I've never used for anything but I know it happens to be on one of those lists spammers sell to each other, so IQ Test/Consumer Venue probably got reprimanded by Office Depot for spamming everyone and had to apologize. The other coupon was from Office Depot directly and that is a true opt-in list only. Both codes are valid though.

Thanks for the Coupon! I just finished putting together my new Berkely Executive Chair (Cloth) which I scored for $30! It's on sale (check their flyer) for:

$69.99 Chair
-$20.00 Instant Rebate
-$20.00 Coupon
---------------
$29.99 !!!

I had to buy a bottle of water to get me over the $0.01 hump to get up to $50.00, but hey, this chair rocks for $30!

When I went to Staples 2 days ago and bought a Logi Dual Optical for 50 - 20MIR, they didn't let me use that 10off40 Staples printable... but the cashier said something among the line of "If you have the original coupon, come back and we will pay you the difference." I wonder if I should go back to Staples today with the receipt and this OD coupon.

I went to Staples and used this coupon to get the mouse....$33 dollars out of the door......plus the $20 MIR...not bad.....final is like $13 after MIR.....

Got the CDRW drive for $20 also.
Turned out to be simpler than I thought. No questions about CompUSA pm and they didn't question the coupon either. Nice... got myself a great CD burner, I think I will sell my old one to one of my coworkers for... hmmm... let's say $20? lol

anyone know if OM or staples b&m will pricematch to amazon if i print the price out? i want to know if i'll be able to print out the $49.99 price for a lexar or sandisk 128mb smartmedia and then use the $20 coupon, so it'll end up as $30 for a 128mb smartmedia card.

Well, I needed a phone with Answering machine....so I got the VTECH 9151 for 39.99 and a TI USB Link Kit for 14.99. So totaling $54.98 - $10 (VTECH rebate) - $15 (TI rebate) - $20 coupon = $9.98 plus I got an AT&T Headset free with the phone.

I picked up a Sharp Zaurus (SL-5500) and used the coupon. To my suprise, they also gave me a $50.00 mail-in-rebate as well! So, instead of getting the Zaurus for ~$400.00, I'm getting it for ~$330.00 when all is said and done!
