I wandered into my local OD today and checked the clearance rack. They have four Antec TruePower 430 ATX12V power supplies on clearance in Melbourne, Florida.

None for me; I'm trying to give up my obsolete hardware addiction.

BUT, these are the late versions with 2 SATA power connectors. AND, no rebates, coupons or price matching is required.

YMMV, availablity limited to items on hand in stores only.

Now its $10 more with $10 rebate though. Probably not as good as an Antec, but I thought it was a nice supply for the cash.

The Thermaltake is good for the price, the only problem being 18A on the 12V rail, the Antec having 26A

I'm gonna head over to OD to check if they got them in stock.

This is a great deal on an awesome power supply. I'm currently using an Antec TruePower 430W to power a dual core Opteron 165 at 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM, nVidia 6600GT, a hard drive, and two optical drives. No problems at all with the PS.

Dropped by my local OD (Fort Worth, TX) and they had at least 6 in stock, and they were on clearance, but they rang up at $60. Still a good drop from the original marked price of $110 but not cheap enough for me to upgrade from my 350W SmartPower. Will drop by again in a week or so to see if the price has gone down.

I checked my local OD in Glendale, CA -- they were on clearance some time ago and are now long gone. Anyone who finds them is lucky!

I had a Truepower 430 die on me around the same time a friend had one die on him (like, within a week or two of each other). Antec wouldn't warranty the PSU because I didn't have the original store receipt anymore. I probably won't buy another Antec product as a result.

i heard that they were involved in some sort of capacitor scandal?
http://www.ocforums.com/printthread.php?t=383405

if op saw tp 430 for $25, should have bought them all?
because that most likely was a specific store overrride?
i scanned them two weeks ago at $73.01 and the only store here that had them still sold out at that price
congratualtions on getting such a good deal!

Got 3 out of the 4 at the OD B&M. Paid $88.01, original price about $110 each. Tried to use a $15 off $75 coupon, but it is not valid for technology products.

It has 7 IDE HDD , 2 SATA HDD, 2 Floppy, 2 fan only power connectors.

still, if you get one of these on clearance for $10 (or even $25), go for it. way better than 95% of the crap produced out there.

Picked up one of these at the Cincy Tri-County store today.
They had 6-8 on the self marked at $60.
Price checked at $27.04.
The store also had several of the SmartPower 300W PS.
Not sure on the final price on those.
Only bought the one as this is going to be simply a backup.
