Look carefully on (and under) any clearance tables and on the shelves for some decent deals. There is a lot of junk on the tables that no one would want at any price, but I have uncovered some Energizer Double Barrel flashlights (with batteries) for $3.88, 44x digital research cd-rom drives for $9.88, a Belkin 325VA UPS for $24.88 and even an occasional dvd movie under the junk that was laying on the top. Don't forget to check those boxes under the tables as that's where all those flashlights were hiding. Take a coupon with you too, as you never know what you may find, and save even more.

FYI:

I got totally denied today @ OD B&M when I tried to use the coupon.

Also, seems like the OD up here in the boston area have yet to really start slashing prices - about 75% of the store was only 10% off, the rest was 20% (which was mostly on paper products, mailing labels and the like).

don't say I didn't tell ya.

Lucky me; today I picked up a Gravis Gamepad Pro for my PC for only $4.88 (before tax) on sale from $19.99. Its a little small for my big hands but it is pretty neat. The receipt shows item #6277042021.

Unfortunately I missed out on the cool Oregon Scientific weather gadget deal (mentioned hear earlier last week). They had cleared them all out long before I got there (of course).
