Office Chairs

Not looking to spend a ton, but I'd like to find a comfortable office chair at a decent price. Any recommendations? Was thinking about something like this.

What's your budget? Leather or cloth? Hi back or midback? I worked at OMAX and Staples for a few years. The best chairs (imo) are the highback leathers. I do like the mesh style chairs - those are *extremely* comfortable, although a lot of people say the padding wears down easy.

Would like to spend as little as possible -- not looking to spend more than $100. My current chair isn't that uncomfortable. 🙂

Don't waste your money at Office Max, especially not on the POS you have linked. Look in your area for used office furniture places and buy a chair from them. You can get Herman Miller mid-back Equa 2's for around $150 used. That may seems like a lot, but those chairs retail at more than double that and are built extremely well and ergonomically designed. If you're going to be sitting in the chair for any considerable amount of time, don't go cheap.

I am on my second Office Max, Staples type leather high back style chairs and I dont recoomend them at all. The quality sucks. I am looking for a replacement right now but I dont want to spend 600 bones on a Herman Miller. Anything mid-priced 350$ that does not suck.

Search on eBay or look in your area for used office furniture places, try starting here.. I bought my current chair (Herman Miller Reaction) used for $250 which is less than half the retail price. Buying used you can find some great deals on high end chairs.
