Read the article. He is most likely not going to be on the ice. being a hockey player myself, you couldn't even take miceal jordan and make him play professional hockey. it's jsut to hard of a sport to play and know the game.
ASs a goalie, pros would just pick him apart. As a defensman, he wouldn't people to hold postiion. AS a forward/center, he would just get destroyed in the offesnive zone.
not tomention everyone would be skating circles around him.
If you guys read the article, it's pretty clear that he's just doing it to raise money to help Sudan pull itself out of Hell. I think that's actually pretty admirable considering the horrible sh*t that's happened there in the last 20 years or so.

Yeh, I read that. But it did state he was going to "suit up" once or twice. The thought of a 7'7" man ice skating is hard to vision.
In an aside, a bunch of the "Lost Boys of the Sudan" that were resettled in the states live near me (Clarkston, GA is a popular place to resettle refugees for some reason). It's been pretty cool to follow them getting used to living here in the states (via the local papers). People have really reached out to help them; a nice story in the midst of all the other miserable crap that goes on here on a daily basis.
