For all those doubting whether it's a real show, it is. Quite a few children?s programs from that era in Britain had a hidden humor on them. Obviously the program is for children, who wont have the perverse minds that would get the jokes like adults do. It gave the adults a laugh as well as the children.

HAHAH REALLY? but wouldn't some adults get angry over this? LOLOL..

man this sucks that this will never happen in US 🙁

omg that is so hilarious..they actually did that on TV AHAHHAHAHA

aihhhhh i woke up my roommate from intense laughing omg AHAHHAHA

No, it's very real. I watched it as a child. I even had a Zippy toy.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!! That is horrible! The innuendo is piled on with a shovel! Damn, I have to show that to friends....

Can anyone confirm if this was actually broadcast for children? If so I think it goes down in history as some serious funniness.

There was a similar vid ,featuring Dr. Who and the Daleks. If I remember correctly, they were made for the BBC staff as a xmass present to themselves=)
If you're talking about The Curse of Fatal Death there, I have a VCD copy of it. Oh, that is a great episode! The star power behind that is fantastic.

WTF!?!? I used to watch that program!!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

I can confirm that is indeed a childrens broadcast... I used to watch that show myself.

Of course now I see it completely differently than back then. At least I can't remember laughing so much and posting about it on ATOT 😀

MANY THX FOR THE LINK!!!
