The "awkward" moment in the elevator was priceless
there were a lot of good moments.. GREAT movie. i got a great parking spot, no jits in the theater, and called ahead to the theater to make sure i picked an afternoon time where it was in a big screen (23 theaters at the regal sawgrass). was perfect
just came back from seeing it...thought it was awesome...

I welled up during the train scene where the people started caring for Spidey....very touching moment.
The actress that plays Aunt May is incredible! She's such a good actress, yet I've never noticed her in anything else. Oh, and JJ Jameson just has to show his face on the screen and you laugh---GREAT character! I laughed, I cried, I wanna see it again!!!

it would be cool if the green goblin would team up w/ the lizard. kinda make the green gob the brains and the lizard teh muscle. honesly though, I dont think we will see the green gob until the last spidey maybe spidey 4
Its going to be the hob gobblin if I remember right. and I think it could be a great movie. although I wish they wouldn't of done that because it pretty much guarntees thats going to be 3.
also I find it way to early for MJ to find out about perter (unless this is the last mive which I highly doubt)
SM3 is the last one the KD is going to do. Don't know about Tobey or Raimi. I think they all only signed 3 picture deals.
if the money thier I bet KD would do another. if she doesn't go for 3 I don't know if they could do 4 right without her it just wouldn't seem right to not have MJ in a spidy flick

Let me throw in my 2 cents.
I think the loss of his powers had something to do with his problems of love.
Also, I was thinking about the similarities of Superman 2 and Spiderman 2. They both have a woman get between them and their powers and responsibilities. Amazing, the natural powers women posses.

I agree, a LOT of cheesy parts, but I also felt the emotion with many of the parts. Overall pretty well done.'

and how/why does the astronaut become venom?
Dr Conners is the professor missing an arm, he's the Lizard in the comic book
Venom is actually Eddie Brock, possibly the astronaut brought back the symbiote with him...
Just got back from seeing it for the 2nd time. Fricking AWESOME movie. Surprisingly better than the first.
Got to see it with my girlfriend at the 1200 showing (she's 100% the best gf ever, she's into spiderman!) and saw it with my best friend this evening. Man, I felt like a little kid again watching it.
Anyway, someone should add SPOILER tags to the title....

Venom would be wicked cool. And you can't have Carnage without Venom.
I would say that it's pretty obvious though that we'll have the Green Goblin back in the next movie, but I don't know how well joe-shmoe would react to seeing the same villian back as a different character.
