BWAHAAHAHA!

Obviously Cal was overhyped. How embarrassing it must be to get stomped by a #23 team after saying you should be playing in the Rose Bowl.

This has to be one of the best "I told you so" situations I've ever seen. LOL @ CAL

LOL @ CAL and all the whiny b1tches in this thread

It's not that Cal's bad, but the fact that when Tech fires on all cylinders, no team can beat them. 600+ offensive yards (520 passing) against a team that almost beat USC and only allows 200 something, its insane.

Very true, and OU shut out Texas, and Tech kept up with OU, comparisons can be made but football isnt a apples to apples game

But with texas, tech wasn't playing like they played last night. Tech never lost when Cumbie threw 1 or less interceptions

that type of logic never works. Sports are incredibly inconsistent. Just because A beat B, and B beat C, doesn't mean A is going to beat C.

tech lost to OU 28-13 while texas lost to OU 12-0. how is that "keeping up"?

People were saying this a couple years when TT came into the Horseshoe. Of course, actual "defense" (people from the Pac-10 may need to look up that word, they dont see much of it from the average Pac 10 team) spanks the TT offense, and OSU had put in the second stringers before the 4th quarter even started.

A team like TT that relies solely on passing can be easily beaten by a team with a very good pass rush. With no running game to keep them honest, they can attack the QB every down.

28-20 Final. Good game. As much as I dislike seeing texas lose a bowl game, I find it equally amusing they get beaten. I guess now all the whiney Longhorn faithful can be quiet about losing a BCS game.

Perhaps you could quit whining about and bringing up Texas. If you think it was annoying that Texas fans did it last year then don't do it this year when it happens to your team. Otherwise you are being a hypocrite.

LOL.

sciencewhiz is a hardcore PAC-1.5 fanboy. He's hoping to deflect this loss and discussion back to Texas.

I figured you would be calling it the PAC-1.0 or the PAC-0.75 by now.

I hate to say it, but I hope UT and OU win their respective bowls to make a Big 12 dominated bowl season (except for those OSU babies).

BTW Hammer, I dont hate Texas, my sister goes there and I go to Tech (imagine her and me at the TTU vs. UT game) and I respect the school, just not the coach 😉
