the momentum has switched.

How has it switched? You have no starting or relief pitching tonight. Your doomed.

hah I'm not a sox fan, I hope they lose. When these things happen, the momentum usually switches around though.

This is a game where Derek Lowe shut my mouth......I thought it was over b/c D. Lowe was on the mound and I thought everyone would just smack him good. Boy did he prove me wrong.

If you don't believe this series is already over with, you're dreaming. Boston is gonna win four straight against the Yankees? [Wayne]Shaahh, right![/Wayne]

How 'bout you people switch over to the NLCS and watch some REAL competition. Go 'Stros!

A: They did it at the beginning of the season.
B: 1 game is over. If the yanks can take 3 from the sox, why not the other way around?

yanks and redsox...hmmm

The distinguishing difference between a good team and a great team is winning when it matters. Face it buddy....historically the yankees are a winning ball club and the sox are not.

They did at the beginning of the season against a jetlagged Yankee team that hadn't gelled yet. Trying to win 4 in a row against a focused Yankee team during the playoffs is a completely different matter. Either way, should be a great game tonight. Two excellent playoff tested veteran starters and two of the best lineups in baseball. What sucks is the early start. I won't be home until the 5th or 6th inning. 🙁

Yeah, why is this game starting at 5?

I'm glad that it's starting early. I don't want to be up until nearly 1:30 in the morning for the game.
Since it's an early start this game will probably be over by midnight!!

That series has been great. The ACLS has been k9ind of a joke compared to it. How about that Carlos Beltran? What a perfect time to hit his stride on a National Showcase. 8 Dingers in 9 post season games, it took Bonds 18 games to hit 8 (granted he probably only saw 45 pitches he could hit the whole time)

Especially in a free agent year!

A little good bye present from the Yanks. 😉

On that note, I'm dying too. Woke up at 5:40 for work.

Beltran = free agent = win. D. Lowe = free agent = win. Pedro = free agent = win? When heart or talent fails, there's always the greenback to count on. Lowe pitched his best game since winning 20.
