Bull fvcking sht, that was a ball to Nixon, he should be on first right now.

Call the whaaambulance.
The calls this series have been horrible, that was a perfect example (and Ortiz stealing). At least they got the biggest one right (Bellhorn).

I was joking, I agree the calls have been poor at best.
;) Between some of the calls and McCarver's "witticisms", I'm ready to pull my hair out!!

Yankees shouldn't complain about calls.. They have consistently gotten calls their way even the fox announcers pointed it out last night.

Schilling shutout through 6. To the 7th we go... Anyone think he will pitch tomorrow out of the pen if they need him? ;)

That's how it has ALWAYS seemed to me the past two years, that and the varitek-hits-hard-line-drive-for-double-play-but-posada-hits-weak-pop-up-for-RBI-base-hit bullshit. I'm sure both sides feel the same way, though :).

Martinez should have half the heart of Schilling. I bet Schillings balls are twice the size of Petey's!

What is the nature of the injury? Was he really bleeding?

He has a torn tendon off his ankle that makes it hard for him to push off... very painful and it's bleeding through his sock.

As long as the yankee's keep raking in the $ why would they get rid of him? He's running a very successful club, regardless of if they get the pennant.
