LOL Manny got pwned by Sheffield. 🙂

LOL yep. Ownage.

You mean the play where he was safe at 3rd? A little help from the 10th player for the Yanks..

Anyhow, hope everyone agrees that Tim McCarver should be bound and gagged. First he keeps talking about that play at 3rd in the top of the 1st. (he was safe or close to it, either way it was a great throw and not a bad call) Now he won't shut up about Matsui and his barehand grab and close call at 3rd. Why he's announcing still, I don't know. Buck's much better, for whatever that's worth.

Trot's the freakin' man, best big game player on the BoSox.

Only the 4th inning.. this game is becoming unwatchable. I hate games like this.

I hope for ANOTHER Red Sox comeback.. there will probably be 10 more comebacks from both teams by the time this game is done.

edit: wow.. Francona is so desperate that he brings in Wakefield who is supposed to be tomorrow's starter?? ugh.. series over.

Everyone talks about the potent Bosox lineup.
I personally think the Yanks are just as dangerous if not more.
There is no easy out in that lineup (except Cairo).

Actually Cairo is doing pretty well

Cairo has done well all season. He's not an easy out (unlike other number 9 hitters) and he's sound defensively. I see no reason why he can't be the second baseman next season unless Soriano's name is mentioned.

A-Rod, Sheff, Matsui: 8-9 with 5 doubles, 3 HR's, 2 BB's

Talk about pwnage. I've never seen a display like this.

Same point I try to make. Make no attempt at picking up anyone at 2B. Cairo not only is a great second baseman, he does all the little things that help the Yankees.

hahahahahahahahaha.....all the rained out Friday game did was delay the Blowsox inevitable death one day. The Curse lives!

Last year it was 'The Curse'. This year they are clearly and utterly being outplayed by a better team.

Edit: But if the population/fans ratio in Boston makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, that's cool too.

What's funny is Boston was suppose to be the better team.
