**Offical 2018-19 WK 4 NFL Q1 Overreaction Time! Pats Suck!!**

Ah yes, here we are approaching the yearly first quarter grades, where the Rams or Chiefs are SuperBowl Champs, and the Patriots will have a top 5 draft pick in the spring. Then the league usually turns upside-the-heck-down the following week and the predictions are totally reversed.

Well, I think the Rams are legit. I don't know about the Chiefs yet. I don't think the Pats are garbage. The Fins are probably frauds. The Steelers are closer to the team we saw on Monday Night than the garbage we saw in Week 1. The Browns? Sure, they looked better with Mayfield, but the jury is still out.

I'd like to gauge your thoughts, coming up on the end of Q1 this Sunday.

Agree with everything except I think the Browns will actually beat the Raiders. I'd like to see Josh Allen do well, but I don't think he can go head to head with Rodgers.

I knew this game would be good. As I stated in the other thread, the quality of TNF games are determined by the matchup more so than the fact the games exists.

I don't enjoy games that feature no defense, but its exciting still.

Why is Wade Phillips always considered the greatest defensive coach! on teams that give up 24-35 points but always score 30-40 points?

I don't fucking get it. lol--remember when he was coaching the Cowgirls a few years ago? lulz

Rams are damn legit, though. They've been working on it for a good 5 years now, and now it is set. Book them.

that fumble is the game
It was vintage Cousins. He puts up tons of great stats, but when push comes to shove and you need him to be clutch, he finds a way to blow it. It's happened probably a dozen times in the past 3 years when he was a beloved patriot.

And the poor clock management at the end of the first half was also not a fluke - he has a history of that too.

Rams looking like overwhelming SB champ material right now. Their next few games are easy (SEA, DEN, SF) before a couple of epic games with NO and KC. Rams could seriously run the table and it wouldn't shock me one bit. Aside from lacking an elite edge rusher and TE this team is completely stacked. If they had gotten Mack from the Raiders this could have seriously been an all-time great year for this team along the lines of the 1989 49ers team.
