Lockette had a successful neck surgery (ACK!) and is staying in a Dallas hospital for a few days. Marshawn Lynch and Russell Okung stayed back with him.
It is probably a career ending injury.

What confuses me is why fans of the other 30 teams would pay Boston media sites a visit when the Giants are the one who beat us... lol

Be fair, the first loss was on the most crazy ass play in the history of sports. Not saying the Giants didn't deserve it, but you could never recreate the Eli scramble to Tyree helmet catch in a million years.

Philadelphia gets a very bad rep. Not that there has been a lack of boneheaded sports moments in Philadelphia but a large part of the "Philadelphia has bad fans" reputation is perception. Every little thing gets overblown and over reported. An example is, last month there was a terrible event that occurred at a sporting event but that was barely reported. And by that I mean, it wasn't plastered in every single news/media outlet in America like it would have been if it happened in Philadelphia.

It really shouldn't confuse you -- Patriot fans brought it on themselves. If your fanbase is going to harass the fan base of nearly every other team, you shouldn't be surprised - at all - that when something bad happens to your team, it is going to be open season for other fans to come and laugh. And to be fair, I'm sure it was the vocal minority of asshole fans that caused it - most Patriots fans are likely no different than fans of any other teams.

As far as I'm concerned, I just don't give a fuck. I'm not going to shed tears for large groups of multi-millionaires when they lose games or billionaires who couldn't run teams to save their lives. If they want me to watch, spend money, etc, they better be putting a good product on the field and earn my money and trust. I'll always be a Colts fan, but I won't hesitate to call them on their bullshit.

The 18-0 Patriots lost to a team that backed into the playoffs and were what, fifth or sixth seed and something like 9-7? Regardless of that play, it shouldn't have been close. I don't deny the Patriots were the better team but the better team doesn't necessarily always win (See: Colts vs Saints, Seahawks vs Patriots).
