The sports media always seem to play into NE's hands. I don't see why anybody thought Miami would beat NE. The Dolphins feasted on 2 terrible teams and the media is telling us they were going to come into Foxboro with an Interim head coach and beat NE? PLS. It's disrespectful to the Pats, Belichick and all they accomplish.

Who thought that? your imaginary enemies?

This is stupid. Run the ball. No need to get Brady or Edelman injured.

Yea, after that score let Jimmy G get some reps. Jesus that last TD throw to Edelman was like a fucking rifle-shot, hard to believe that a 38yr old dude can still put that kind of steam on it. Deadly accurate as well.

Listen to the commentators. People thought that this would be a game.

Anyhow, I respect Tannenhill, thinks he's a good passer. They need to upgrade his line, looks like he's always running for his life.

That's EXACTLY how to defend a hail-mary pass, don't try and be the hero and make a pick, knock it down so it cannot be tipped and possibly caught by the wrong hands.

What is mind boggling is that Brady throws the hell out of the ball and has 1 pick(which wasn't his fault) over 7 games. Insane.

I understand that this is the proverbial "Middle Finger Tour" and everything, but why is everybody (fans, media, the Patriots organization, Bob Kraft in particular) keeping the Deflategate bullshit squarely pointed at the Colts when the Colts organization even before the season started walked away from the whole thing saying what's done is done, time to move on?

Seriously. It's amazing how stupid owners can be sometimes. Just let your team make your point for you and keep your god damn mouth shut.

Well, since they said "what's done is done and it's time to move on" I guess all should be forgotten... lol. Are you serious? The Pats still have lost a 1st and 4th round pick. Does that statement by the Colts give those picks back or give back Brady's reputation?

Did the Colts take away those picks? Nope.

Did the Colts do anything to Brady's reputation? Nope.

All they did was have a player point out during a game that a game ball seemed off, which is what any player on any team should do. Everything else that happened from there had nothing to do with the Colts. The latest words by Kraft are just plain childish.

Of course it's par for the course for club owners, so I'm not really surprised.

It seems like you haven't quite caught up on the actual facts of what happened, not the NFL/ESPN narrative/spin

Here is a little help, there's much more; Google can help or just look into the other thread about Deflategate.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Troy Vincent, NFL executive vice president of football operations, said during an interview that airs on Showtime Tuesday night that Indianapolis Colts General Manager Ryan Grigson asked the NFL to look into whether the Patriots were playing with tampered footballs.

Vincent said Grigson made his request during the second quarter of the game. Vincent didn't say how Grigson became alerted to the possibility that the Patriots were playing with underinflated balls. Grigson has not spoken publicly about the controversy.
Colts linebacker D'Qwell Jackson denied a report that he noticed one of the balls was underinflated after picking off a Tom Brady pass during the game. He said he only wanted the ball as a souvenir.

"I wouldn't know how that could even be an advantage or a disadvantage," Jackson told NFL.com. "I definitely wouldn't be able to tell if one ball had less pressure than another."

I'm trying to think if there's been another team with arguably a Top 5 player and each and every skill position. Even the celebrated historical teams like Greatest Show on Turf and late 1980s era 49ers might have 3 of the 4 but not all - who can name the TE for the 1989 SF team?

You could literally have a championship fantasy team lineup with just Pats players this year: Brady (QB), Edelman (WR), Gronk (TE), and Lewis (RB).

Brent Jones? The 89 49'ers where pretty good.... Montana/Young at qb, rice/taylor at wr, Jones at TE, Craig at RB, Rathman at FB, ronnie lott and charles haley on d

Dion Lewis is absolutely filthy:

It's just mesmerizing how he casually catches that ball, then spins on a dime once he does and breaks that dude's ankles.

Yea, quite a find for the Pats. Brady warned everyone pre-season that this guy's gonna make some eye-popping plays and was correct. Lets hope he stays healthy, did you see Suh lumbering after him in pursuit during that play?.
Gronk having a little fun on twitter in response to this,

Weak schedule? They're playing the Broncos in Denver this season. :colbert:

Yea, that will be a tough one, Denver's defense is without a doubt the best in the league and this game will have possible playoff seeding spots in play so both teams will want the W. Denver will have to find a way to wake up that offense eventually though if they are serious about a SB run.
