**Offical 2015-16 NFL Week 12 Thread - Where Refs Happen**

Got the thread up early because of the Thanksgiving Day games...but....

.....controversy, controversy, and more controversy....more ref blunders costing teams big time.

I understand the human element in games where you may blow a holding call, PI, or something that's open more to interpretation than anything, but that "inadvertent whistle" was really what set me off. I'm no fan of the Patriots, but they were robbed of what seemed to be a big gain if not a TD.

The Sammy Watkins play was much, MUCH more critical:

BYE Weeks are over, I think...so we'll have a full schedule from now on.

Browns are the dumbass. Either start him or release him, stupid decisions like this are why you've been a W on everyone else's schedule since you came back into the league.

Beast Mode out for 4-5 with sports hernia surgery, all aboard the Thomas Rawls train.

Rams WR Stedman Bailey was shot in the head and hip while an automobile passenger in South Florida on Tuesday evening and is in the hospital in critical, but stable, condition but non-life threatening. This is a real shame because in college the dude looked like the second coming of Antonio Brown and even made Geno Smith look good at QB.

Turkey Day Games, Nov. 26

Panthers (10-0) at Cowboys (3-7) 4:30 p.m. (CBS) -- Romo is back, but I think the Dallas defense has already been exposed.
Bears (4-6) at Packers (7-3) 8:30 p.m. (NBC)

Ravens (3-7)at Browns (2-8) 8:30 p.m. (ESPN) -- Ravens are in disarray, so are the Browns. My coin flip came up with a Browns win.

Jamarcus Russell 2.0?

Not even close. JaMarcus Russell is a way bigger bust and there will never be another like him in the NFL due mostly to the rookie wage scale.

1. Physicals. JaMarcus Russell was a beast of a man. All the tools to be a great QB...except where it counted, in the head. Johnny Foolsball is a much smaller guy. Both are idiots though.

2. Pay Me Now. JaMarcus got mad money, to the tune of a $60 million contract with $32 million guaranteed. Johnny Foolsball got $8.x million with about $6 million guaranteed.

Give it a rest. The refs ALMOST got that one right ffs. The only thing that was wrong on that call was that it should have been a dead ball foul with a bench penalty on the Bills for 15 yards because of what Rex did on the sideline.

On the other hand, watching Gene Steratore helping Brady up off the turf with a big shit-eating smile on his face is what got my goat while watching that game. Why's the head ref even touching any player after a play other than to break up a fight?

My comparison was somewhat tongue in cheek, but I'd say they are nearly equal busts.

The biggest difference, in my opinion, is that Football will probably have a longer career as a journeyman.

what channel is the skins game coming on? I'm watching Fox, it's past 1:00PM and all I see is the Eagles and Lions game. WTF. Fox Sports 1 is some god damn soccer. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH

lol nevermind. It's this Sunday. I'm a moron.

I realized my problem. I listened to my wife. :\😀

oh wow do the Eagles suck

This was a game where I can honestly say the Lions won the game, instead of the opposition losing it.

Lions played really well, and are playing hard to at least salvage some pride.

Possibly, they can win 7 games this year.

I agree, the two previous games that they won where more luck than anything (although the defence has been playing well)
