Miami. We got 1st and goal at the 2. Let's try 4 passes.

Albert *coughs* Haynesworth.

The way the Vikings defensive line and linebackers have been hitting quarterbacks the last two weeks, the Denver o-line better be good and come ready to play next week or Manning's going to get hurt. I don't think he'd survive some of the hits Rivers and Stafford took over the past two weeks.

Just got back from the weekend without access. Glad I didn't stay to home to watch the 49ers game.. abandon ship indeed.

That Bengals Ravens game is becoming a repeat outcome every year...

2013 was that jump ball hail mary catch by AJ Green,

2014 was big back-and-forth 4th quarter TD bombs (S Smith, AJ Green) that the Bengals won,

now this year. AJ Green. Again.

End of the 1st half. What a waste of precious seconds to start the drive. Where was the sense of urgency? This is the type of crap that infuriated Philadelphia year in and year out. By the time you drove to mid-field, you're out of time to even attempt another long play or two to get you into field goal range.

No Packer love here tonite?

I see a great QB at his peak, I see a well-oiled machine humming along and I see a GB/NE SB50. Not too certain about the NE part yet as the secondary is missing some components and the Denver D has been steady as the offense matures and gets it's legs back under it, and I see the Bills already recovered from the NE game with a dominant victory on the road. Stay tuned.

Good old Chiefs. I hate being right about this but I called this shit. I await the end of the Andy Reid/Alex Smith era, unfortunately I think they'll let it drag on to a full 5 years if not longer (I kinda have a hunch they'll eventually move on from Smith and use him as the scapegoat for Reid's awful coaching, giving Andy another few years). I seriously can't even stand to watch them, it is painful how woeful the leadership is on the team. Reid is a nice guy, and he'd make a great puppet head coach, with someone else calling the plays and managing the game while he gives the ra-ra speeches and the open door for the players. Frankly he's not even up to Schottenheimer or Dick Vermeil, as at least they recognized their issues, tried to remedy them. With Reid we're really just getting a continuation of the stubborness of the Pioli era with equal amounts of cluelessness. Sure they're better more and more consistent but they're still not going to achieve jack shit.

Looks like the fire sales may be starting early this year. Forte to DAL would make a lot of sense but he'd probably wind up somewhere like CLE which would completely torpedo his value. Or how about Alshon to CAR so that Cam had an actual weapon to throw to this year?

ESPN's Dianna Marie Russini reports the Bears are "looking to unload players that don't fit their scheme" who are left over from the previous regime.

ESPN Bears reporter Jeff Dickerson mentioned Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffery as players GM Ryan Pace should explore trading next after shipping DE Jared Allen to Carolina on Monday. There's little chance the Bears trade Jeffery; at least, we don't think Pace is that stupid. Jeffery is making near-minimum, and even though he's scheduled to be a free agent next spring, he's an ideal candidate for the franchise tag if there's no extension. Forte makes more sense. He'll be 30 in December, is in the final year of his contract, and would make for a prime sell-high candidate. Martellus Bennett could also generate some interest.

So at this point I'm disappointed in the Titans because they could very well be 3-0 or at worse 2-1. On the bright side Mariota is looking pretty good at this point.

Andy Reid's weakness has always been in-game adjustments. He's a very smart guy. He can come up with a great game plan. He's obviously a very successful coach. The problem is whenever he hits a good coach or his game plan is not going right, he simply can't adjust quickly while in-game. And this is reflected in the play of his team.
