# of poll responses on category page

there should be something on the category page that tells how many poll responses there were

If you view the results or post in a poll it tells you how many votes there are altogether. Why would you need it to tell you anywhere else?

What if there's 2 polls? What number gets displayed then?

And why can't you just open the thread and look at the poll?
