Of people you know, who do admire most and why?

My parents for doing their best - even though I feel like I'm a failure 🙁

Think positive please! 🙂

Cheers cressida

Myself. I'm smarter, more tolerant, more giving and far more understanding than anyone I know. Of course I achieved this at least partly because of my parents.

's for all who try to reach the pinnacle of greatness that has been thrust upon me. 😉

And modest to boot. 😀

Dammit you beat me to it...

 4U, but I'm still more egotistical than you.

My Father: Smart, successful, dedicated, determined and loving. He didn't get to be around us kids as much as he wanted (lots and lots of business trips and long days....though it's not like we never saw him) But he always kept in mind the real reasons for what and why he was working. I hope I can be like that.

I admire Beau Cooksey. He is a redneck former army ranger that quit his job and moved to NC to attend seminary, fulfilling a personal calling from God.

Not only do I respect and admire him, I'd trust my kids with him and lay my life down for him without the slightest hesitation.

I person I admire the most is my international business professor from when I was an undergrad. He doesn't do many articles but he pumps out a book every 3 or 4 years. He specializes in middle eastern relations and trade. I don't admire him for his work because I don't like the field of international busines, but I admire him because he is a PhD and he has it all. He's established as a kinda famous person in the field, he has a wife who loves him and you can tell he loves her very much, and he successfully raised his children while doing his research.

The person I RESPECT the most is the professor I did research for this summer (technology innovation). Shes really smart, produces excellent papers, and semi famous in the research circles.
