It stays on MSI's Platinum boot screen for like 30 seconds before moving on to the Windows XP Pro boot screen. Is it suppose to do this?

Haha nevermind I figured out what it was...I had accidentally placed my original slave optical drive on top, forgot about it, and plugged the master plug into it, and the slave plug into the master drive. I guess it threw off my motherboard and well, it hanged a bit. I switched the pins on my drives and everythings fixed. My boot time is like 10 seconds now
