Of course pre-civil rights Mississippi isn't the same as present day Arizona, but your state is still shit, with shit people. I've been saying democrats and republicans are increasingly the same. Big distinction. And if you cant see that and believe there is a big difference on major policies between these two parties? You are more nuts than previously believed.

I don't even know how you can say 'they're both the same' unless you literally don't pay attention to politics at all. I mean, Genx OBVIOUSLY pays a LOT of attention to politics given how much time he spends here, so the only rational explanation of how he could exist like he does is that there's something seriously not working with his brain's ability to process information. People mistake being similar on a lot of things with there being no differences. Both parties are fundamentally economically neoliberal, but that obscures massive differences in the extremity of that.

The differences are easy to see by just looking at two of the most consequential policies over the last ten or so years:

If Al Gore won the 2000 election, would we have invaded Iraq?

If John McCain won the 2008 election, would the ACA have been passed?
