Yea I'v enjoyed my time here, lots of good feedback. It shouldn't be a problem getting my money back, the seller was offering 14 days to return it, and besides eBay protection is pretty reliable in my 35 transactions I have done.
The problem is that these guys are pretty shady. They say they'll give you your money back, but since they're running an illicit operation they're not exactly honest people to start with. More than likely they don't leave any money in their PayPal account, so your money is safe from being taken back.:|
I'm even considering reporting him to Microsoft.
You should absolutely do that. Though keep in mind it's possible they'll want the fake software package.

Cant he ask MS if its legit with the numbers on the sticker? Wouldn't they be able to find out if the license key for that serial number has already been activated or something? He may have a great buy in his hands, just saying maybe he should ask Microsoft before sending it back and even then it’s a crap shoot if he's going to get his money back. He should also let the seller know he's concerned and see what kind of a response he gets from him...

I'm sorry but this issue has already being addressed in earlier post by me. The copy was 100% Fake. In fact Microsoft has responded back today saying that they received the fake copy and that they will send me a FREE replacement in about 3-4 weeks. Turns out the program I'm enrolled in my College already gave me a free Copy of Windows 7 Professional, so I guess I will just store this one for future need.

In a way, MS incentivises people to buy the fakes and then send them in. They end up with a legit product at the price of the fake....

Hey thats great, glad it worked out for you. So you say you have a legit copy of win7 for sale now...what do you think...$150?

How so? If the fake copies of Retail Windows OS are going for $140 and the copy Microsoft gives you is a similar to System Builder copy which retails to around $100 or less if you are lucky and depending the OS version.😕 Unless people like wasting money, then I don't see how this is a valid way to get a real copy of Windows from Microsoft and still "save BIG" money.
