OEM Samsung F4 2TB 5400 HD $70 @ Microcenter.

Hey superHARD (giggles at screen name), you might want to call first, especially if you have to make a long trip to your nearest MC. I tried to get the 500 GB drive the other day, MC website said they had 20+, but in actuality they had none. Ended up going for their last Sammy OEM 1TB, of which they supposedly had 62. Clearly some gremlins in the inventory system. YMMV.

missed out on that hitachi newegg deal but i think it'd rather have a samsung anyway. not that hitachi has ever done me wrong.

I picked one up today...should have gotten 2 if my wallet would have let me.

But lol yeah they had a TON of them, maybe 100??? Kansas City MC
 
What the heck. At like 9:30pm yesterday, the Cambridge store said they had 20+ in stock. Now, at 6am, it says out of stock.

I don't think that the store was even open between 9:30pm and 6am this morning.

Oh well, have to wait for them to get new stock, I guess. Seems like a decent deal, even at $80.

Edit: Now showing in stock again.
