Missing faceplate is a nasty compromise to get something cheaper. The Dell deal of the past few days is much better on something brand new. Newegg has brand new drives that are a better deal.

sorry guys...i looked at that one too quick...i thought it was a pretty good deal for someone looking for a dvd drive on a budget. damn I didn't see it had a missing faceplate...i apologize.

The Creative 5X/32X DVD drives don't seem bad........Two of them shipped to me in Minnesota would be about $55. My 5 year old needs a quieter CD-ROM in his computer than the 52X Jet Engine assisted CD-ROM Drive.
