since im buying the oem version of the t-bird 1.33, along with a cooler master heatsink/fan, will I need to buy thermal grease and all that? if so, what kind should i purchase, and how would i put the cpu/hsf together?
If the HSF comes with a thermal pad or thermal compound, then you can use that for normal operation/slight overclocking. For serious overclocking consider acquiring some Arctic Silver II. As far as putting it together, you put the CPU onto the motherboard first, apply thermal compound (if any - if using thermal compound, remove any thermal pad from the CPU - either one is okay, but don't use both), and then attach the HSF to the mobo over the CPU.
