OEM Office Suite

I'm building a PC for a relative who is not a student (nor a teacher), which means she's going to have to pay more for her office suite...

Where can I find a cheaper version of MS Office 2003? Even NewEgg wants quite a bit of cash for the OEM version of MS Office. Is it possible to buy the Small Business Edition of MS Office 2003 for $150 anywhere?

I've noticed that a lot of HP and Dell PCs come with Corel Office for Word Perfect, Quattro Spreadsheet, and some other utilities. This is a possibility, but I don't see the OEM version of that on NewEgg's site. Where's a good place to buy Corel Office?

I've tried getting her to use OpenOffice and AbiWord, but she doesn't like either of those. 🙁

Does she have any previous versions of Office? She can get a standard version upgrade for about $200. Newegg also lists Office Basic 2003 OEM for $170, but it must be purchased with a complete system.

If your gonna buy it, buy MS office and not Corel. I work for the IT department at my school and it is a pain in the ass when i have to support Corel, there is always about 10 people on campus that use corel and they always seem to want to load their documents made on Corel at home on MS office at work and it wont work right so they call us. If they wont use open office, then get them MS Office. Let them know the price of not using the free alternatives and not adapting to Open Office.

She used to use Word at work and now she uses WordPerfect at work.

She would like to use Word & Excel at home but would "settle" for Word Perfect and Quattro.

The only MS Software she owns right now is Windows 95, MS Works 95, and MS Publisher 97.

no complete system needed
just ANY piece of hardware
IDE ribbon will do

You don't need to be a teacher nor a student to buy the Student/Teacher edition of Office 2003, I picked it up for $100 after rebate a few weeks ago at BestBuy.
