odst players?

i didnt realize firefight was friends list only play..

trying to figure out if i want to keep the game now before i open it or return it.

Bungie screwed the pooch on this one. Overpriced POS. A shame that Firefight doesn't even run with the matchmaking component. FAIL. Not that I was going to buy this anyway seeing what a lag-fest Halo 3 is.

Why would you want to go thru matchmaking for firefight? do you know the crap players that get picked that way? It would be pretty frustrating to get a player that just ran around sticking you with grenades and laughing at you while you are ragdolling across the map. At least with a frined you know he is there to "help"

cause ... maybe people don't have a ton of friends who play firefight mode, which seems to be the exact reason this thread was made in the first place?

exactly. i dont have one person on my list with this game. so.. firefight doesnt work.

create a ranked mode and problem solved. i dont care if dont know them. i would have just liked to play the mode.

since this was the issue i returned the game and got borderlands.

I spent 30 min playing borderlands last night... save often if you can, BL glitched out on me in the first 10 minutes.

ODST is kind of a disappointment but Firefight is a ton of fun with good people.
