BTW, why didn't anybody save a copy of O'Donnell's website before she scrubbed it?

Thinkprogress links to a screenshot from Google Cache, but all they have is the menu bar... http://thinkprogress.org/2010/09/15/odonnell-website-stripped/

Seriously, do you think her WWW site was much of anything other than what it is now?

Are you such a fool as to think that before she got the Republican nomination it had entries like "Go Witches!" or "I HAD financial problems in my life!" or fapping videos? o_O

From what I read elsewhere, she just added detail and scanned copies of documents that rebutted the accusations being made in the attack press.

The campaign had such minimal traffic on the site that they did not opt for high traffic hosting to handle the gigs of downloads that would occur literally within moments of her winning the nomination. Having a static page with a link to PayPal for contributions gave them time to change up the hosting and do a refresh to add info on key questions being posed, as well reflect that she is now the Party candidate.

That is all. Get over it.

Why not? Angle's website was a bunch of crazy during the primaries before she took it down and threatened to sue anyone who reposted bits of if ...

What are you talking about? She scrubbed her website of her actual positions in order to fool general election voters, but unfortunately no one thought to save it. I would have if I had any idea who she was before she won.

Translation: "GREAT RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY!" "THE INTRANETS ARE CORRUPTED!" "O'DONNELL IS A SHAPE SHIFTER!"

Did I get the tone right?

Are you a fucking dumbass? How difficult is it to understand that she removed all the content of her website to hide her nutty Tea Party positions to appeal to the general public? Since when is a conspiracy required to edit your own website?

She should convert to Islam.. that would really make the lefties head explode.. It is pretty clear though that they are pretty much against any woman achieving any sort of position of power.

lol.

wtf are you smoking?

Pailin/O'Donell are not only a disgrace to women, but to humanity in general. This is what people don't want.

Well, maybe this what YOU don't want.

Take a look at the Tea Part rallies. You see that more, sometimes a lot more, than half of them are women. It is the women, even more than the men, that seem to despise the Obama agenda.

And why shouldn't they? They are often the ones who run the family finances and they are really pissed that this Administration that promises the Moon actually delivers only economic hardship and a crippling debt that they and their kids will have to deal with.

Look at how many conservative female candidates are running this election, and are now the Republican nominees. You focus on Palin (who is not running) and O'Donnell (because she is the designated Dem touchstone for the moment) but there is a wave of conservative women that are running for office at all levels this year. I heard record numbers, but I need to find a reference to back that claim up.

The libs and Dems are truly misogynists, spending endless hours of their lives attacking women who want to contribute as not good enough. But I haven't seen anyone here say that they are running even for dogcatcher, much less running campaign after campaign on a shoestring and ideology as O'Donnell has. These women are the ones who have liberated themselves and they ain't liberal.

Your hatred of women is energizing them, you know. You and the Dem leadership and tards like MSLSD attack O'Donnell as stupid for the stuff she has experienced and done. But women are thinking that some of the guys they dated were also satanists/goths/emos/serial masturbators/losers and they dumped them, too.

Boys, you had better grow up and smell the roses, they are rising to take back America no matter what names you call them.

Who cares if she dabbled in witchcraft. I think the focus should be on her illegal use of campaign funds and hiding from the media that wishes to actually challenge her.

Minor point, but why are Wiccans upset?

I thought she said "witchcraft", not wiccan. (Or did she actually say "Wiccan"? - I don't have audio on my PC)

I think it's her insanity that people mostly oppose, and surely she is insane for a reason, she's well into her 40's and shun masturbation and pre marital sex... 40+ years without an orgasm would make anyone insane.

I'm fairly certain that i could easily win any election in the US, all you really need is to have people rally around one cause of their problems, like... Brown people...

Now beat the drum and continue beating it, get the people to understand that it's not THEIR fault that their uncontrolled spending "happened", it's the immigrants and the Muslims, they are everything that is wrong, if you were to get rid of them, then the old US, the grand old great US that everyone remembers with pride, the US that existed before THEY destroyed it, it would shine again...

Of course, you'll need to keep them focused on this, invent a few falsaries here and there about others but most of all, keep them focused on that.

It's been done all over the world in different stages, it's being done right now in France, fuck the UN too, don't forget to say that when they remark that the human rights treaty signed won't permit mass deportations or mass repatriation, remember, at that stage, it's not you who are wrong, it's not the human rights that are wrong (because you will want to bring that up regarding Muslim nations and Mexico) it's just the UN, don't explain why, just keep saying it.

Eventually, everyone will know your words to be true and people like PJABBER and Spidey will call you a patriot for dare saying it, well everyone but the sane and those are few and far in between.

If you can live with it, you can run with that and be successful.

This is important for Democrats because right-wing voters don't usually vote based on facts or issues. The facts that GWB was a failed businessman and AWOL didn't get through to them and they voted him in twice. Pointing out that a Republican candidate is a witch and not Christian is a huge campaign issue for righties.

And O'Donnell still denies paying her rent with campaign money and says she has a lawyer ready if it goes to court.

Actually, she doesn't. She just denies that it was illegal to do so on the grounds that her home is her campaign headquarters. At issue is whether or not she was running an active campaign at the time or was misusing the funds that he had collected from a previous campaign before she had subsequently launched a new one.

Wiccans are not satanists. They do not believe in satan/lucifer and view it as a christian entity.

Satanists are a completely different thing. she grouped the two together.

Right. But has she explained how she survived on $6,000 of income in 13 months starting 3/2009? Most normal people, which she claims to be, have to actually hold a job and pay a mortgage/rent and buy food. She also took a class to get her English degree, where did that money come from?

I love how she is refusing to talk to national media now, fear will do that when you're a moron that took 16 years to get an English degree.

I knew a girl who said she was a witch but hated wiccans. She was really cute :)

All I'm going to say is this, all wiccans are witches but not all witches are wiccan. Me, I'm the latter though there is nothing wrong with that religion or any religion. Those who judge other people by religion or anything else are Bigots...

I'm also a man for the record. Wiccans are closer linked to organized religion as they tend to form in covens and follow a newer set of guidelines(1951 was when it was established). My guess is the following scenarios why she didn't stick with it, as a lot of people who get introduced to it, tend to stick with it.

Scenario A, the person she was dating was extremely weird and didn't know what he was doing. Some people, who are into this stuff really never get off the ground, the key to this was the Satanic aspect of it. Unless the guy was really deep into a lot of the people on this level tend to be atheists rather then true witches.

Scenario B, she had the holy living hell scared out of her when she realized there was a lot more to this world then meets the eye. I got the shit scared out of me about 2 weeks after I was initiated by the person who initated me. Imagine, being 28 years old, not knowing anything other then the world you see before you out chilling at a bar with the person who initated me 2 weeks before catching the light of a strobe light and then going into an altered state of concienceness. I literally was under this effect for 5 minutes and was in tears by then end of it(you saw what I saw, you would freak out too)...I probably would have ran off into the night screaming had the woman who intiated me calmed me down and told me it was normal(feb 14th, 2007 was that date btw). It actually reminded me of what is going on in last season of true blood with people seeing stuff(Jesus alluded to being a witch at the end of season 3, and that is really really close to what witches go through). If that is the case though for O'donnell she probably became a born again christian the next day cause trust me, you can think the stuff is fake, and you can doubt what it is. I did, right before I saw that stuff, and I've seen some pretty unbelievable stuff, outside of the veil(the real world) and through the veil.

There could be others, behind this, I dunno, I liked what a caller in NC said about O'donnell getting elected..."there is nothing wrong with O'donnell getting into the Senate, we already have one practicing witch in congress...Nancy Pellosi"

For the record, I'm straight and single and if you got that girls number I wouldn't mind having it.-J/k
