Most important is winning the president AND minimizing downballot losses. The democrats are already down 1 Senate seat with Manchin retiring, they can't afford to lose another. They also need to flip the House. If Republicans get control of both houses of Congress, Biden will spend more time signing vetoes than legislation - military budget being an exception.

That sidesteps my main point. Assuming you can only have one or the other, which is more important? To me, with the President's newly minted superpowers, the WH is infinitely more important to hold on to, even if Dems lose both houses. Of course I'd like WH and supermajority as that's the fastest way to affect real change, but that isn't what I am asking about. I just hope all the pressure coming from people to get rid of Biden aren't coming at it from a "this will hurt my career" or "this will mean the DNC will lose some power" angle.

The leaks proceed what would likely become on camera statements from the entire top echelon of the party. If that fails they will move on the delegates. They are not fucking around.
