We had two dogs. Rugby and Gracie. Rugby used to pull the kids stuffed animals off the bed, and literally remove the eyes only. We have a whole slew of eyeless stuff animals. When you would come in and catch him in the act, he would look at you like ." I found it this way."

He also ate fiberfill out of pillows..always nice to find fiberfill poo in the backyard.

Those two are gone.

When I was younger I had a dog that ate a roll of scotch tape. When I took the dog out later that day to do her business she tried to pass the tape, but in passing it taped her butt shut. It was scary but funny as hell at the same time.

Linoleum, not once but twice and both times she had to have surgery to remove it from her stomach. She won and we had to have the linoleum replaced with ceramic tile. Even more odd was our dog Duffy who ate a disposable razor. We found out when the pieces came out the other end but he suffered no ill effects from it and lived to a ripe old dog age of 17.

Have a min-pin that ate a roll of Rollos. He also eats onions, lemons and pretty much anything dropped on the floor.

Have a lab that ate a bowl full of Reese's Mini PB cups. They were the pastel colored ones that come out at Easter. I couldn't figure out what happened to them until a few days later when I was scooping poo in the backyard and found glittery piles of poo.

Have another lab that likes to rip apart stuffed toys. She would start by slowly pulling off the eyes, ears, hands, feet and then commence to ripping out the innards of it. She doesn't get stuffed toys anymore.

my sis-in-law's dog ate dental floss once. the damage was rectified with an operation costing thousands of dollars.

the dog also ate a corn cob. the damage could not be rectified and eventually led to her demise :-(.

Eh? Corn on the cob can kill a dog? I give my dog corn on the cob all the time...he loves it. My two other dogs lived long ass lives eating it also.

EDIT: lol, I guess it can obstruct them...my dog shows no ill symptoms though. I'll prob give him less to chew on from now on.

My dog ate a bottle of phen-phen (the other dog's blatter control medicine) and OD'd we had to take her to the emergency vet for about 3 days for fluids.

The same dog ate dry-wall as a puppy.

My dog eats bananas whole with the peel.

My mom got mad at me for teaching the dog how to eat strawberries off the plants in the garden. Heh

When my basenji runs out of raw hide to chew she peels the wall paper off the walls in neat little strips. She doen't eat it tho...She does however eat dust bunnies (cat hair), dryer sheets, and the crotches out of used panties (pervert).

When I was growing up we had a Stafford Shire Bull Terrier.

My parents kept him in the garage when we were gone, because the neighbors harrased him and we didn't want to pay for someone's hospital bills.

Needless to say, over the course of one summer he ate the following:

1 gallon jug of windshield washer fluid (he peed blue for a couple of days, and we made sure he had lots of water as per vet)

1 fiberglass cane fishing pole (that was a mess, but amazingly he survived that)

1 foam Three-Wheeler seat (leather, foam and all..)

And the bottom half of the hollow core door between the garage and house, eventually it was repaired with metal plating.

Broccoli & Spinach. Both my dogs like it. It's food, but what dogs typically don't eat vegetables.

Where to begin - I have a black lab who must be part billy goat. He ate some canned cat food while it was still in the can, an entire package (4 rolls) of toilet paper package and all, a shed snake skin I found, tupperware containers, full boxes of kleenex, basically anything he can get his jaws around. :(

As a pup my dog ate a wash cloth. Didn't chew it up but swallowed it whole. Later regurgitated it. Had to forcibly take it away or she was going to do it again.

One of our dogs got up on the counter after I cooked an amazing dinner. She quickly scarfed an entire red potato and a complete boneless pork chop in rasberry sauce in minutes before we caught her licking up the remaining sauce.

Kiki (4yo, 5.5lbs.)

It was a brutal 2 days for her but everything fortunately passed fine.

When my dog was a puppy he tried eating a fragrance aerosol can. Needless to say after he got a tooth through it, the sound and feeling in his mouth made him run and hide. He knocked over a bunch of stuff and was cowering in a corner shaking. Poor guy didn't seem to hurt him that bad though. Other than that he used to love to eat socks. We always found them laying in the backyard.
