Shuffle on iTunes played "Bankrobber" by the Clash then "Love is a Rose" by Neil Young. Both are pretty much the same chord progression and melody. Anybody know some other songs (aside from this and perhaps the RHCP/Tom Petty thing) that are like this?
 
I'm sure that if you delved deeply into popular music, you'd find many such occurences, since it often follows the I/IV/V chord structure.
The list of songs based of G/C/D alone is probably huge (even if you discount country music, which I would guess uses G/C/D more extensively than any other genre)
