there was a yo-yo craze in the mid to late 70's

There was a random yo-yo revival when I was in the second grade in the 90's. I remember getting my parents to go to KB-Toys so I could get a yo-yo but they were sold out

Wasn't that the butterfly yo yo craze? i vaguely remember yoyo's making a comeback, commercials showing off tricks, little LED lights inside..etc. I found them as dull as the slinky....speaking of, remember the horrid plastic slinky? didn't even work for more than 2 steps on stairs.

My Mom took us to 'Gone With the Wind.' I was about 5 (1969). There was a playground in front of the screen. I sept through most of it.

We had no play grounds except at the elementary school. Mom used to take us there. Man, that silver slide was high.
