Odd situation I have put myself in *EDIT*

I called this girl a couple of mins back who interviewed with my company a week ago. I knew she didn't get the job because the HR person told me. I called because she was hot and since she wasn't going to work for us, I thought I could ask her out. Turns out that since she went to China on vacation, the HR person didn't tell her that she didn't get the job.

I had to act like I didn't know what my company's decision was on her. I didn't ask her out though.

She's going to find out tomorrow that she didn't get the job. Poor girl. She's all hot and stuff. She even offered to show me around town since I am new here.

edit I think its going to be funny to find out what the HR person thinks when the girl (her name is Jenni) calls to find out if she got the job or not. Jenni is obviously going to tell the HR person that I called and the HR person is going to wonder why.

When she sat with me, she did mention that she'd be willing to show me around. This meant she knew that I had her # from the resume of hers that I had. She also saw that I had her resume with me.

Well I asked the HR person for all the resumes of people that were going to come and sit with me. Jenni happened to be one of 'em.

Personally, I would've asked her for her number than just go off the assumption that she assumed she thought I had her number already. That way, later on, she couldn't claim I was a stalker or some other kind of freak peaking in on resume's looking for chicks to pick up.

But, that's just what I would do.
