Odd SETIDriver issue

conjur

I've noticed my laptop hanging on some WUs the last couple of days and in two of my folders I see files named:

SETILogUpdated.txt
SetiDriverTransmitLoopDetector.txt

I've never seen those files anywhere before. They are 0 bytes long. WTH are they and are they messing up SetiDriver??

Although they are 0 bytes....is there any text at all in them?

Have you changed any options in SETI Driver? perhaps a screenshot of your seti driver screen may help.

It is very easy to just delete all of the setidriver files and extract a new copy of it. It will recognize the buffered wu's automatically and there aren't much settings you should restore..
And also delete both text files..

I ended up having to blow away the WU folders and downloaded new WUs.

TheCorm, they were empty. <shrug>
