where can i buy fan blades? not fans themselves but individual blades? Not big but only around 1-3"? preferably plastic/wood something cheap/does not corrode. I need it to do a personal expriment and low price is nice.
thx

edit: what motor would you guys suggest that runs off dc power(1.5-12V ok[dc so i dont kill myself]) to spin these propeller blades in a water filled enviroment?

also, i'm debating on a drive system and im leaning toward buying some of those lego technic things, would that work well or would the froces be too much to be handled by the small rubber bands and smooth wheels?

i need 8-10 and making them to be identical would take many many hours.

Aren't most fan blades all made out of one piece of plastic attached to the center hub? If so, isn't there no seperate "blade"

Sounds like you are trying to propel something through the water. I would suggest trying some hobby stores. The one around here carries spare props for model planes, along with about any other spare part you could need for rc model planes, cars and even some model boat parts. They usually carry quite a good selection of parts and could probably give you some good advice on what you are doing with the fan blade and motor ideas, they may even sell small electric motors that fit the bill.
