Odd question about router and possible problems with accessing secure sites..

All of a sudden my father is having problems with his online banking with First Union. He'll want to access a more specific page and it'll seem to load slowly.. then all of a sudden it just hits "Page Cannot Be Displayed..." He says he has gone to this page before on other computers but it won't work here. Before I write the First Union tech support.. which will just get me automailed an FAQ anyway I felt I'd ask the AT crowd.. Anyone here have any experience with a router and not being able to access certain secure sites? This was about the only thing that came to my mind ...

I recently had the exact same problem happen to me after I upgraded to IE6. I had to re-download and reinstall ie6 to fix the problem. I also set the security settings to default and all is working fine now.
Good luck......
