Ever since i signed up on DICE and put up my resume i get TONS of calls and emails.

Those people always offer me jobs, mostly temporary, like JAVA developer for certain projects.....but NEVER in the local area i am looking for a job (eh. Nashville, TN)

THESE PEOPLE, WITHOUT ANY EXCEPTION, are ALWAYS Indians.

Don't get me wrong...i am just wondering what's going on....it looks to me like they're sub-contracting and looking for people doing projects in NC, FL, Ohio, whatever state.

But how come they're ALWAYS indians ?

I am talking abou lots of calls/emails...espcecially on Dice.

(Btw. no racism whatsoever...its just something which strikes me as odd :)

yes i figured...but my question is..are they all working from within one centralized office/location ? Maybe from india ?

In other words:

Company XYZ outsources software development to india...and then IN india the developers looking for sub-contractors...here in the states again ?

I get about a 30% hit rate of Indian recruiters.

Whether they are physically actually at the headhunter that they claim to represent, I do not know. Nor do I care.

However, they had better be able to communicate with me the information that they request. Mulitple times, I have had to ask them to spell the word that they are trying to pronounce. It is not even matching in British English.
