Odd Problem with games.. Memory related?

Heya, in two games I play (only two I have tried aside from half life I, and assorted mods) I get weird problems.


In Eve-Online, the game just reboots my computer every period of time, ranging from 5 minutes to two hours... It seems to have especially unstable times where it might reboot a few minutes after logging back in for an hour or so.

in Warcraft III, I get 'Fatal Error!' Memory could not be written 0x*random*** referenced at 0x0000000, or something of the sort, crashing to desktop.

I have looked in to each problem independantly and I am exhausting software issues with Eve for this problem to no avail. Same with Warcraft III, I think I may be down to a hardware issue. Could it be the video cards memory? system memory? Page file? Is it even a memory issue? are the problems related?

Check in the BIOS that the DDR voltage is set to a min 2.6v max 2.8v

Up the voltage in the smallest increments you can till you find a more stable solution.

Download MEMTEST32
Boot cd or floppy

Run overnite
