Just got a retail 3.2e (sl78b i think) and in two motherboards (ecs photon pf1 and p4r800-v) it boots at 2.8ghz most of the time and 3.2 some of the time. Further to this it boots with either 1.25, 1.35 or 1.4 depending on what mobo I use. Its all a bit wierd. Any idea's? Perhaps bios issue with cpuid? I have an ic7 coming perhaps I will have better luck with that.

(as an aside it booted at 3.7 / 1.4v with no problems)

I think that this was a problem with early bioses and the 3.2GHz Prescott. More than likely this will be solved by updating the bios to the latest version.
