It's a laptop running Windows 2000 Pro with an external NIC. It gets an IP address from the DHCP server and can ping websites, but it cannot access websites.
We've tried:
-reinstalling the NIC drive
-uninstalling/installing TCP/IP protocol
-uninstalling AOL in case it messed with something
-uninstalled wireless card utility/driver for same reason
-tried the windows 2000 repair install on cd
Nothing has fixed it. It ends up with the exact same problem every time.
Anyone have any ideas?
