Odd Poll: Could you pull out your own fingernail for $2500?

We were working on my car this weekend, and he smashed his finger between a breaker bar and an AC bracket. now it's turning black under his nail.... I asked if he thought it was going to come off, he said that if he'd get my supercharger out of sympathy if it came off, then it was probably going to fall off.

edit: actually, i'm not that hard up for money right now, that i'd do it. considering risk or infection and the pain. maybe for $10,000.

all it really takes is for it to become bruised and it'll fall off
lets say someone steps on your finger by mistake and crushes your nails and it gets bruised... given about 2-3 weeks it should fall off with new one growing in it's place right under it.

People tend to use their hands frequently. Several weeks is a long time to constantly experience severe pain.

a board fell on my foot and took off half of my big toenail, it really wasen't all that painful, but the bleeding was ridiculous. On your hand it would be worse, but for not too bad for $2500, that's equivalent to a few weeks work, and if its not taxable income, then even more, heh.
