Odd Outlook issue

Wondering if anyone has experienced this.

I run Outlook 2013. Every once and awhile it decides to open a new email message and paste the contents of my clipboard into the body of the email.

This has nothing to do with keys being pressed or anything. In fact, I just unlocked my computer to find the message there with contents of clipboard pasted in.

It also saves a draft but that's done automatically. But at times I see random new drafts and it's these messages with clipboard contents.

Makes no sense, especially after the system is locked and can't accept input.

I have not experienced that one, and I don't see any default options that do that. Having said that, I have Office 365 and have had to do more than one re-install to correct odd behavior. One install had Outlook crashing almost half the time I opened it, and one crashed on the first attempt to open any Word doc (even newly created ones).

My point is, don't rule out a re-install here. Secondly, have you added any ad-ins to Office?

Only add-ins are McAffee and Lync and I can't disable those.

I have reinstalled Office a few times to fix other issues and this one remains.
