We have 4 servers attached to a switch going to the company router. 2 of these servers are fine, however the other 2 seem to lose network connectivity to the server every 15 to 30 min. However if you ping out to another server on the switch or to any public site like google or yahoo, incoming network connectivity is restored.
We've tried switching ports on the switch, changing cables, disabling any form on sleep or hibernation in windows and on the NIC. The event log doesn't tell us much; On the app side we get S
erflib id:2002, S:FTPCtrs id:1000, and S:IISinfoCtrs id:1003. On the system side we get S:W3SVC id:105 and S:MSFTPSVC id:105. These get repeated often.
Searching online has not helped much. So any ideas would be appreciated.
