Odd MX700 problem

Just the other day I started to have a very unusual problem with the mouse.
Right-clicking just feels 'off'. I'm not sure if something's wrong with the plastic itself or what, but when I apply a very tiny bit off pressure (not even for an actual mouse click) I can feel and almost hear a very small click in the plastic. While this isn't a major problem, it can get very distrating when using the mouse (especially in games) because there's always a little tiny click before the actual click, which throws off my sense of how much pressure to apply, and it just feels awkward. (Oh, and left-clicking is still perfectly normal. No problems there).

Now, here's the real kicker. I can temporarily get rid of this problem by - get this- blowing on the mouse. If I just hold down the right button and blow on it fairly hard for a few seconds, clicking on it just feels 'right' again. It completely returns to normal. After a few more minutes, however, the problem returns. So I have to blow on it every few minutes, which is annoying, and would be very impractical when playing games for even short periods of time.

Anyone have the slightest idea what the deal is here, because this problem (especially the blowing part) just confuses me beyond belief. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

My MX500 did the same thing, then it stopped, then it started again, then it stopped again.

I think you just gotta live with it... if it really bothers you, then you can try clicking closer to the bottom of the physical mouse button, it greatly reduces the frequency of the "ghost clicks"
