Odd hard drive issue

Having just built my own computer for the first time not a week ago, I recently installed the motherboard drivers (see model in my sig) After I did though, Both my hard drive partitions are now permanently listed in the safely remove hardware menu. They are not listed as removable storage in my computer, but they are both listed under safely remove hardware, and If i try to stop them I of course get an error that they cannot be stopped at this time because they are in use. I do not have any advanced setup with my drives, just a single HDD plugged straight into the mobo, so I'm not sure where this problem came from. This is what it shows up as Another even less important issue right now is that my computer is showing a floppy drive available even though my comp does not feature one. Is this simply a windows default to always list 3.5 inch floppy (A) in my computer, and can it be esially disabled if so? thanks in advance for your help, sorry this turned out a little lengthy I guess.

Perhaps your mobo has eSATA support so any SATA port could potentially have an eSATA drive connected. I'd say that would be standard procedure for eSATA. Look in your BIOS to see if eSATA support can be disabled on a per port basis.

doesn't appear to be anything related to eSATA in the BIOS, nevermind about the floppy drive question in the original post that was an easy fix

To the OP:

Are you happy with your new Rig?

You've basically built exactly what I'm planning on getting.
