Odd Drive error in Explorer

when viewing my drives in Explorer, Windows refuses to give my D drive an icon. When I click on it to view the directories, it gives me an odd error and refuses to go any farther. I can type the address into the address bar and get to specific directories though. Rebooting and reformatting do not seem to fix the issue. Haven't come across a corrupt file yet though. 😕

Can you look in EVENT VIEWER [Control Panel/Admin Tools]
and tell us what error comes up

Include the SOURCE and EVENT ID along with the Text [very important]

Does the error also happen in SAFE mode?

Nothing shows up in Event Viewer. I had the error at 11:15am. Last event in Event Viewer was 8:00am for TCP\IP. All other events were from yesterday. Haven't tried the drive in a different system yet.

Update:

Drive seems to respond properly when I first click on my E Drive then go back to D drive. Long as I keep that copy of Explorer open, the drive will continually respond as normal
