Yep the OD I referenced earlier has lots of clearance modems and vid cards (no real deals though), I think this is a nationwide clearance on those glass case items.

Does anyone know if any other Cobra radios besides the 329-731 are on closeout? My OD has a boatload of Cobras, but not that specific one. I got a price check on one of the other units that I saw and it was full price.

I had a manager at Office Depot who was kind enough to use his scan gun to scan all the 2-way radios on display; so far, none of them have been marked with the exception of the FRS-70.

The Joycam been drop to 10.88, there is a 12.01 rebate stuck on the box (clear see-thur box, not cardboard box).rebate good to march 2001.

Gravis Gamepads Pro and Gravis Destroyer USB are .01, got 90 total for .92, they overcharge me by 2 cents (they cant count). They may try to tell you that they cant sell it to you at one cent and charge you the retail price, tell them to look up the price in the corporate
inventory/price list. At a few of the stores that only had 1 or 2 joysticks and I couldnt find any other good buys, they didn't even brother ringing me up, just gave me a bag and said have a good day. at other stores i've got receipts for .01 and .02.

Went to my local OD... found some good deals. I got one of the 3M "Precision Mousing Surface" mouse pads with the gel wrist rest (UPC 2120059179), was on the shelf at $19.99, rang up at $4.88 - the cashier was like "what the..?"

I grabbed two of the big Energizer Double Barrel flashlights (UPC 3980009318) for $5.88 - they were on the clearance table, some marked $7.88 or $8.88, but I found a few at $5.88 - woohoo! My receipt says Mfg. List price is $24.99, and they come with 6 AA batteries!

Also got one of those Eveready flashlight/flasher/lantern things for $5.88 (UPC 3980008429), and they had black ink cartridges for my old Epson printer for $7.88.

That particular modem works for any of the III series (III, IIIe, IIIx, IIIxe) or the IBM workpad c5 (rebadge IIIx). I think there was a V modem, but I didn't check it's price.

More lamp info:

The white magnifier swing arm lamp has Nautilus on the box name. Only the White is on clearance, the chrome, copper, and whatever the third one was are still normal price.

The SKU on the Octavia floor lamp is 320771

there is a black swing arm halogen, box name Alterra for $8.66, does include bulb. Also comes in chrome for $11.66

that palm III modem is regular price in memphis and the Apilo Phone rang up as $19.88 instead of $29.88. BTW, it has a $50 rebate for buying 2 on there. Does anybody know anything about that?
