go to the local OD B&M that is closing for some great deals..

I bought a HP 990cse (last one there in the anaheim store) inkjet printer with a 2 pack of black cartridges, a pack of photo inkjet paper and a pack of t-shirt transfers.

all for $411...the inkjet itself is $400.

I found one reference (www.northenlight.com search result) that said their were 5 OD stores closing in the LA/Orange County area, but didn't list the stores.

I haven't been able to figure out which stores are closing (I've been to two recently - Sepulveda near the Airport and Rosecrans near Sepulveda) that didn't have any obvious signs of closing soon.

Anyone have anymore clues?

anaheim. but ive been there a few times. there is really nothing good. its weird because alot of stuff is marked higher than the other OD stores and next to it they have the 10% signs. So youre still not getting a good deal. These closings usually pay off on the last few days where they do soe real markdowns.

I agree with emonkey. The deals at the closing OD's are luke warm at best (most of the tech stuff is 5-10% off). Seems like all the closeout hot deals occur at the OD's which are continuing business...go figure. I think it's a marketing ploy to lure people in the closing stores to buy what they normally wouldn't buy. People see a sign that says 5% or 10% off and they buy because they think they're getting a deal.

The real deals will come in the final days of business...but by then there will probably be very little that is worthwhile.

definitely wait for a long time. until you see chains on the doors, ready to close up the store for good, don't bother going in. officemax had a much better deal on my photosmart p1100 for 230+tax. and that place wasn't closing, just clearancing (haha, I made a word).

my thought is that they won't be giving any good discounts at all. they'll prolly drop a little below the prices of the other stores, but HOT deals will be few and far between.

that said, if you find something hot, don't post it, just email me :D hehehe

Yes the deals on those Closing OD really sucks.
the liquidators are in charge and the 10% is over the full price

savings is savings...you guys want too much, they are not going to give crap away for next to nothing you know.

tantos, their deals are pretty much the same old crap marked down from extortion to full retail :(

I was really hoping they'd do a closeout or something, but I'll bet they are just gonna truck the leftovers to one of the other OD's that will stay open.
