I am getting ready for a new build and I was wondering if a 850 watt PSU is overkill for my new computer? I don't have all the parts yet but here is what I am going to build:
Processor: Intel i7 - 930
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS 9900 LED cooler
Motherboard: MSI Big Bang Xpower
Ram: Probably going to be 6GB (3x2)
Optical Drive: LG Blu-Ray reader/burner
Hard Disk Drive: Samsung F3 1TB drive/Western Digital 320GB from my old PC
Video Card: EVGA GTX 465
Case: Looking at purchasing a Cooler Master Storm Sniper Black Edition with 4 fans already installed.
I could salvage my old Corsair HX620A PSU from my old PC but I am not sure if it would handle SLI from the new GTX series cards.
Thank you in advance.
