In for the OCZ Agility 60gb now just gotta wait out the bing and rebate

I figure 60gb is more than enough for OS and apps. 2 30's in raid woulda been nicer tho 🙂
 
I ordered one today and got a shipping confirmation within a few hours. TigerD has become a pretty good online retailer.
 
OCZ rebates have improved a lot, too. They're very much like Corsair, now. They take forever, but you will eventually get them as long as you've done everything right.
 
As with all deals with a rebate involved you take a certain risk that you will never get the rebate. Things get lost in the mail all the time.

The bing should be a guarantee tho....Which pretty much brings it down to the NewEgg after rebate price with no sales tax and shipping involved.
 
How long does it take BCB to show up in your account as pending? Do any of you that ordered already have a note on your account?
 
If you go over to the pending tab, it says how many days left before it becomes available. Usually around 60 days unless the retailer clears the purchase earlier. I've had things become available much soon, and I've had things take 60 days.
 
The Agility 30GB is $62.00 AR/ACB. This is getting damned tempting.

I wonder why Engineer and the others who regularly post in these SSD deal threads haven't commented yet. I'd appreciate their input. 🙂

Would you buy a 30 GB hard drive if it wasn't an SSD?
 
FYI: if your Bing doesn't show up within a couple of days then you need to put in a claim with Bing and they will assist you.

All of my orders show up within minutes of purchase. A few months back my CB did not show up from a TD purchase. Took a few weeks to get it squared away through bing, but I got it all back.

Its basically up to TD to go back and determine/verify that your order was illegible for the cashback. Also keep in mind that they will try gto go off the default % that shows up through Bings store list; so you will have to nudge them a little to get it right.

Its nice to see prices slowly dropping, but the bigger rebates kind of suck. OCZ has been great for rebates for a while now; shouldn't have any issues.
 
its down to 8% today

which after tax(for me) makes it about a buck less than the newegg deal since its no tax and 40 MIR instead of 30
 
newegg raised the price so this is the one to get

I am just having issues getting the BCB to show up in my tigerdirect cart....arg
